Event Details

Join JUNTA for the party of the year as we celebrate 41 years advocating for New Haven's Latino and low-income community.  Our annual gala will feature a cocktail hour, live music, salsa dancing, a full buffet dinner and open bar all night. 

This year we will honor Kim Johnsky, Principal of Fair Haven Middle School for her work with Fair Haven's children and her committment to empowering children and families and the Spanish language newspaper, La Voz for its contributions to media and to the Latino community of Connecticut.  Ariel Melendez, New Haven Assistant Chief of Police will serve as Master of Ceremony.

JUNTA is the oldest Latino organization in New Haven.  Serving over 5,500 residents per year, we offer direct services and family management, adult education, financial literacy and counseling, a children's program and a Worker Center that advocates for low-wage and immigrant workers in greater New Haven.
